Cajones – this aesthetic drums made from precious Wood convince with deep, powerful Bass-Sounds and are easy to learn. They give each rhythm a very special touch. Course I is played on compact Cajón a la Perú and in Course II on the Conga- a similar Cajongas is played.
The Cajónes arised from Transportboxes for Fish or Oranges. Slaves from Peru used them for drumming in the fields which was forbidden.
